A PART OF ME

It’s hard to forget the love I have lost,

When so many words left unspoken,

A story of love that will never come true,

Too much pride and dreams between us,

But, none of them will ever make you mine…

It’s hard to forget the love I once found,

When your face still flashes in my mind,

And, this heart still beats faster for you,

But like an ember almost dying, I know...

There’s nothing left to say to make you mine…

I’m missing a part of me, the part I gave to you,

Oh how I wish, you know what I’m going through,

Looking back in time, when I used to call you mine,

When my wishes and dreams were just to be with you,

Oh how I wish I could still say…I love you.
