Citylights glow from afar,
What a magnificent sight from this corner where I sit in,
Anticipation builds up slowly,
As the night gets longer and time seems to run late,
For the first time since we’ve met,
My heart is convinced that something magical is to come,
As I sit here patiently awaits,
For the man who makes my heart skip a beat once again,
The moment our eyes meet,
In this place where coffee, smoke and sound mix well,
A fire inside me rekindles,
And all my senses heighten in a glimpse of the man I love,
A look or a smile is all I need,
To make such a beautiful night worthy of remembering.
