LIFE GOES ON...

A breath of fresh air as I wake up in the morning,
It’s a start of another day without you by my side.
At times, I wonder if I’ll ever make it on my own again,
Here I am, standing all alone trying to be strong,
With all the pain inside,
Life goes on...

A little bit quieter, a little bit lonely
The day goes by with your memories in my mind.
Sometimes it’s hard to breathe, sometimes it’s hard to smile,
Ignoring all my fears , I wait for my heart to heal,
It’s gonna be awhile but 
Life goes on...

Slowly, my heart is learning to forget,
As I let time heal my wounded heart and fall in love again.
I know one day, my journey would take me where I meant to be,
In the arms of someone whom I can love and trust again,
Till that day comes,
Life goes on...

Someday, someone will take my hand,
And love will come again like rain pours in May,
I know I’ll have that chance to love and be loved once more,
And with a smile on my face, I will tell myself,
Without any hint of doubt,
Life goes on.
